Pale ruby in color. The nose is fragrant, expressive, and complex. It opens with subtle notes of evolution (tobacco, dried flowers, undergrowth, prunes in the background) and spices (liquorice, nutmeg, white pepper), enveloped in fresh, juicy fruit (Morello cherry, blackberry, wild strawberry, raspberry, blueberry). Aeration reveals elegant floral and herbaceous aromas (fresh rose, peony, dried blackcurrant leaf, brewed tea), as well as a light toasty touch. The palate is subtle yet flavorful. The attack offers a tangy touch of red cherry, redcurrant, and blackcurrant, followed by a pleasant bitterness of wild cherry and toast. On the mid-palate, toasty and spicy notes (toasted hazelnut, liquorice, nutmeg) emerge, along with flavors of Morello cherry and juicy raspberry, as well as a touch of black tea, forest floor, and dried flowers. The tannins are very fine, smooth, and almost imperceptible. The finish is persistent, tangy, and fresh. ( . Guerin de Tourville Valentina. Avril 2026)
